Hi !

I am Alya Zouzou, a Data Scientist and Machine Learning Engineer with a Master’s degree in Mathematics & Computer Science from Université Paul Valéry Montpellier III. My academic and research work focused on Trustworthy AI for Autonomous Systems, especially through projects in computer vision, pose estimation, object detection, and conformal prediction.

I recently accepted a position as a Junior Data Scientist / Artificial Intelligence Engineer at Airbus in Toulouse. This next step allows me to continue working at the intersection of research, applied machine learning, and real-world AI systems, with a strong focus on reliable and efficient perception models.

Previously, I worked at Airbus AI Research in Toulouse, supervised by Dr. Mélanie Ducoffe, in collaboration with ANITI — Artificial and Natural Intelligence Toulouse Institute. During this experience, I worked on vision-based runway detection, uncertainty quantification, conformal prediction, and pose-aware perception models for autonomous systems.

I also have experience in natural language processing and data engineering, including text-to-JSON generation from aviation messages, data pipelines, dashboards, and analytics projects. Before Airbus, I interned at PwC in the Data & Analytics division.

My interests revolve around computer vision, vision-language models, trustworthy AI, and robustness in machine learning systems, with applications in autonomous and safety-critical domains.
